Job Description:
The Graduate Sports Performance Coach assesses, motivates, educates, and trains athletes with the primary goal of improving sport performance and overall health and well-being. Reporting to the Head Sports Performance Coach, the Graduate Sports Performance Coach assists and independently oversees sport-specific testing sessions, designs and implements safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs, and guides athletes in wellness and injury prevention for assigned teams. - Design and implement the strength & conditioning programming for 2-3 varsity teams - Assist the strength and conditioning staff in the training of all MHC student-athletes - Assist in daily administrative and maintenance duties - Conduct and assist in all phases of strength training, conditioning sessions, and testing - Participate in weekly assignments and professional development
