Columbus State University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Women's Soccer. This is a professional position involving assisting with the administration of the intercollegiate Women¿s Soccer program for a NCAA Division II school.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with providing a competitive team within the Peach Belt Conference; recruiting new players for the program; setting up travel; promoting the University athletic program through marketing. The selected candidate will assist the Head Coach with the academic success, as well as the athletic growth and safety of student-athletes participating in the program. Responsibilities also include establishing a strong community involvement program; monitoring the academic standards through study hall and grade reports; monitoring all aspects of the program to ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations as well as participating in promotions and fund-raising efforts on behalf of the intercollegiate athletic program. Looking for a candidate who is willing to help train the goalkeepers. Also looking for a candidate to help with field maintenance.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor¿s degree; knowledge of athletic recruitment methods and techniques and NCAA regulations concerning student-athletes; the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and orally; G.R.E or G.M.A.T. scores that meet minimum requirements; ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and read and understand safety procedures.

Columbus State University will pay tuition costs for the preferred Master¿s Program, and also offer a stipend of $500 a month for 10 months. Additional money can be earned through camps and club involvement or personal training.
