To provide athletic facility and grounds maintenance support for the following departments: Athletics, Recreational Sports and Health and Physical Education, and other designated events.
Demonstrated knowledge of the basic duties associated with grounds maintenance. Demonstrated skill in the operation and use of various manual and power tools and equipment routinely used in grounds maintenance. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct workers. Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. as required.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Some experience related to general grounds maintenance.
Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification)
Basic knowledge of turf maintenance. Some knowledge of recreational or athletic field maintenance. Some knowledge of the setup and breakdown of athletic equipment. Ability to use turf maintenance equipment and operate standard transmission. Demonstrated ability to use tools to maintain and repair sports equipment. Experience leading and directing workers.
Some night and weekend work will be required
