The Head Acrobatics & Tumbling (A&T) Coach is responsible for overseeing the A&T program and reports directly to the Executive Director of Athletics (AD). Duties include but are not limited to, provide leadership and direction for the A&T program; choreograph, teach and develop team members’ skills and routines; manage the team budget; recruit quality athletes; coordinate and organize travel according to institutional and department rules and policies; and manage the program in a positive and student-athlete focused manner. Head coach must meet team roster and fundraising goals and work within the discount rate required of the team.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:
1. A & T team development (50%) - Provide instruction to student-athletes during practice and competition - Develop team members, including quality routines for the season - Practice acceptable standards of safety in accordance with NCAA guidelines and NCATA rules and regulations - Effectively communicate, interpret, and uphold the expectations and responsibilities of the team members as outlined in the student handbook as well as the student athlete manual - Ensure that all student athletes adhere to all university and code of conduct rules
2. A&T administration (40%) - Coordinate recruiting efforts and recruit academically and athletically qualified athletes - Work with the AD in coordinating all aspects of practice & competition schedules, facility usage, fundraising, equipment ordering, etc. - Establish and stay within annual budget - Organize and supervise all community engagement activities - Fundraise to meet annual goals and in cooperation with the AD and UR department
3. Perform other department duties as assigned and directed by the AD (10%) - Actively participate as an effective member of the team by completed assigned duties in a timely manner - Assist with seasonal peaks
