The primary responsibilities are to provide athletic training services to all student-
athletes engaged in intercollegiate athletics. Athletic trainer responsibilities include but
are not limited to: injury prevention and health promotion, clinical examination and
diagnosis, acute and emergency care, therapeutic interventions, conditioning and
reconditioning, and health care administration, hiring and supervising student staff,
budget management, practice and game coverage, GC Sports medicine practicum
instructor, and professional development.
This is a 10-month position (August – May) with an annual salary of $45,565.
Option: Potential for teaching at the college level.
Master’s degree in athletic training is preferred, along with at least three years of
experience is required.
