Are you ready to join a collegial athletic training team that operates out of a state of the art sports medicine facility?

Do you enjoy working with college student-athletes? As the Head Athletic Trainer, you are responsible for all aspects of the UAA Athletic training program, that includes writing policies and procedures for individuals, facilities, treatment, and activity areas by referring to established safety and legal guidelines, NATA Role Delineation Study, and best practices. Manage, implement, and practice the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainer five domains; therapeutic intervention, assessment, evaluation and diagnosis; risk reduction, wellness and health literacy; healthcare administration and professional responsibility; and critical incident management.
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate athletic training staff including associate athletic trainer(s), assistant athletic trainer(s), student assistant(s), intern(s), and volunteer assistant(s).
