Head Baseball Coach
Salary: $8,000/year
Classification: Part-Time
Reports To: Director of Athletics & BSC
Duties will include, but not limited to; Leading all phases of an Intercollegiate baseball program. Recruiting within conference guidelines, teaching advanced baseball skills, monitoring of individual’s academic progress, overseeing the transportation of the team, participating in fundraising activities, encouraging and demonstrating good sportsmanship, and processing of appropriate institutional and conference paperwork.
This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for managing all assistant coaches and volunteers for the baseball program.

Lead entire Intercollegiate baseball program
Recruit within conference guidelines
Teach advanced baseball skills
Assist with the monitoring of individual's academic progress
Oversee transportation of the team
Lead fundraising activities
Process appropriate institutional and conference paperwork
Lead practices and games on weekday afternoons, evenings and weekends
Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Baseball Coach
- Understanding of intercollegiate baseball rules and regulations
- current First Aid/CPR certification Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level.
- Experience working in a community college.

Terms of Employment
Head Coaches will be paid $8,000 annually.
Conditions of Employment
Prior to a new hire, a background check including criminal record history will be conducted. Information from the background check will not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicant's suitability and competence to perform in the position. In addition to the background check, candidates will be required to complete the Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Form as required WB HB 2327.
