Position Introduction

As the Head Basketball Coach, you will play a crucial role in advancing this mission, serving as a mentor, role model, and advocate for our student-athletes, and helping them to realize their full potential as individuals and as athletes.

This position is a full time, 10-month position with June and July off. Start Date: August 1, 2024.

Job Description

The Head Basketball Coach is responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women’s basketball program, and expected to create and foster a positive culture for the women’s basketball team. This position will pass the NCAA Division III Rules Test, and is expected to work with the Compliance Director on all eligibility and compliance regulations. The Head Basketball Coach will conduct a vigorous recruiting program within the regulations of NCAA Division III and the MIAA while also working with the Saint Mary’s College Admission Department to coordinate recruitment efforts, and is responsible for recruiting talented student-athletes who will thrive academically and make positive contributions to the growth of the sport program.
