Bethel College is seeking a (part-time) Head Cheerleading Coach.

Bethel University (Mishawaka, IN) has an opening for a Head Coach for Competitive Cheer. Affiliated with the Missionary Church, Bethel University, is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Crossroads League.

The Cheer coach must be committed to the University's mission of Christ-centered higher education. Responsibilities include:

• coaching (practices and competition)
• spiritual development through discipleship/mentoring
• recruiting • scheduling
• supervising assistant coaches
• budget management
• travel arrangements
• program promotion
• ensuring program compliance with the NAIA and the Crossroads League.

Additional duties will be evaluated based on the candidate's skill set. The Competitive Cheer coach is also responsible for encouraging the student-athletes in their spiritual, academic, athletic, and social development. Candidate should have a minimum of two year's collegiate coaching experience with demonstrated success in recruiting quality student athletes. Bachelor's degree is required.
