Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology, the Director will coach, plan, organize, recruit for, and coordinate the Huntington University Esports Program.

Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology, the Director will coach, plan, organize, recruit for, and coordinate the Huntington University Esports Program.
Must be a committed Christian with a strong desire to serve others and a commitment to be a faithful steward of university resources.

Knowledge & Experience
Familiarity with a wide range of gaming titles that are currently played in collegiate esports.
Policies, procedures and trends related to Intercollegiate and competitive Esports
Conference(s) philosophy, rules, regulations, regarding eligibility, recruiting, financial aid, recruiting, game seasons, etc.
Proper coaching and motivation techniques
High pedagogy of esports
Familiarity with promoting programs and events through online streaming platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, and any other applicable services.
Experience related to managing a Discord server, including providing
Risk management and safety regulations; applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Formal Education & Certification
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree and extensive participation in competitive esports. Two years of collegiate level experience preferred.

Work Schedule: This is a part-time, non-exempt position, approx. 25 hours per week, 10-months per year.
