SCHEDULE: Will vary depending on practice and game schedule.

• Game and practice schedules regularly occur on the weekends.
• Travel is frequent based on contest schedule and recruiting. Travel by car and plane.

REMOTE WORK ELIGILITY: No

GENERAL PURPOSE

• Responsible for instructing student-athletes on how to improve themselves athletically to successfully compete in their sport. Recruit student-athletes that will be successful academically and athletically. Oversee all aspects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Instruction of student-athletes to improve in their respective sport. On field instruction for games and practices. Oversee Assistant Coaching Staff.
• Recruitment of student-athletes that will succeed academically and athletically to fit within the Molloy mission. Assist at Open House.
• Completion of paperwork related to compliance, scheduling and administrative duties related to the conduct of Field Hockey. Engage in fundraising. Manage budget. Attendance at all coaches meetings.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• High degree of proficiency in the sport
• 5 to 8 years of work-related experience
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook Word)
• Frontrush: Hudl

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree
• Prior collegiate coaching experience

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PUBLIC CONTACT

• Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.

SALARY INFORMATION

When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring salary for this position is $1,150.00 per credit. This hiring salary represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
