Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Head Coach Men and Women's Track & Field
Ensure compliance with NCAA, Atlantic East Conference and university policies and procedures.
Meet recruiting goals as established by the Director of Athletics and Recreation
Achieve and maintain certification for CPR/AED and First Aid
Monitor team fundraising account.
Attend department staff meetings and university functions.
Represent university at conference meetings.
Develop and maintain alumni relations for the promotion of the program.
Represent the University and its athletics program, with honesty, integrity and sportsmanship at all times, to various institutional programs and students, parents and families, the general public, alumni and external agencies.
Work with various departments and personnel at the university to aid in the development of a positive student-athlete experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Intramurals Coordinator/SAAC Moderator
Provide engaging, competitive and high-quality opportunities in a variety of indoor and outdoor intramural activities to satisfy the diverse interests of students, faculty, staff and community. This includes individual/team sport activities, challenges, tournaments and leagues.
Direct, organize, supervise, promote and evaluate all intramural programs as governed by the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA)
Performs required duties as the building supervisor, including site supervision, securing and closing. Required for set-up and break-down of equipment for intramural events.
Request and reserve indoor/outdoor facilities around athletic team practices and games.
Schedule tournament style events (6-week leagues, 1?2-day tournaments, brackets, round robins, etc.) within Immaculata University and other universities within the IMLeague.
Schedule individual-based fitness and wellness options for the campus community
Provide developmental clinics and instruction for officials and referees of intramural events.
Promote activities in advance, organize materials, train and schedule referees, team captains and student workers/volunteers.
Maintain participation records and research trends to increase participation and involvement throughout campus.
Research comparable institutions to review and look for opportunities for improvement.
Moderate the mandatory student-athlete study hall one-time per week.
Familiarity with the NCAA Division III SAAC Informational Guide and Best Practices is expected.
Create an environment that acknowledges, encourages and celebrates differences.
Performs responsibilities as Game Manager as assigned.
The ability to work nights and weekends is required.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, master's degree or equivalent related work experience
1 - 3 years ofexperience in an athletic department, preferably in a college/university setting.
Experience in running / track and field.
Ability to professionally interact and communicate withstudents, faculty, staff, and guests of the university.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed during the season including evenings and weekends.
Basic computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook.
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, valid driver's license, motor vehicle license check required.
Ability to work with time sensitive projects, work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task
