Frostburg State University seeks applications for a full-time

Head Coach of the Men’s & Women’s Swimming

Programs.

Salary and contract terms are commensurate with experience. and includes the University System of Maryland benefits package.

Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference.

Description of Ongoing/New Duties

Administer all aspects of the men’s and women’s swimming programs. The head coach position will manage and oversee the daily operations of the swimming programs including; practice, game day activities, recruiting, budget management, fundraising, academic monitoring and mentoring of student-athletes. he head coach will recruit and retain a minimum roster of 24 student-athletes on the men’s and women’s swimming teams. who are expected to be successful in the classroom, socially responsible, and competitive within the Mountain East Conference and

NCAA

Division II. Conduct assigned duties in accordance with all University System of Maryland, Frostburg State University,

NCAA

, and Conference Affiliate policies and procedures. Other work-related duties as assigned. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to overall departmental philosophy and collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years coaching experience at the collegiate level or above. Knowledge of

NCAA

rules and regulations. Proven ability to recruit student-athletes.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree.
