California Institute of Technology seeks a Head Coach for our Men's and Women's Cross Country / Track & Field programs. Located in Pasadena, California, Caltech is the world’s leading STEM research institute and is a truly remarkable, rigorous, competitive research-oriented academic environment, with 975 undergraduate students, Caltech boasts 16 intercollegiate teams in NCAA Division 3. Our mission is to develop the STEM leaders of the next generation who will transform the world. Our athletic program is engaged in a tremendous transformation and all programs are very competitive within the traditionally strong Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The head coach of Men's and Women's Cross Country / Track & Field is responsible for administering all aspects of the sport program including: coaching, recruiting, game scheduling, student development, budget management, compliance with NCAA D3, and conference rules/regulations and community building. The head coach will teach in the physical education curriculum. The head coach is also responsible to participate as a member of the college community and with all collaborative departmental functions as needed.

This is a full time exempt position with excellent benefits, vacation, retirement and continuing education support. Review will begin immediately and conclude only with the successful hiring of our next head coach.

$77,000 - $81,000 Per Year
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
