Responsibilities: Designs, implements and evaluates the Women’s Basketball program. Performs all related administrative duties as assigned, to include recruiting, travel, budget oversight, resource management and media communications.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
2. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Head or assistant coaching experience at the collegiate level is required.
3. Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations or ability to quickly acquire such knowledge.
4. Demonstrated ability to recruit and mentor student-athletes in a manner consistent with academic and athletic success.
5. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and develop student-athletes.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and presentation tools).
7. Ability to effectively utilize standard office technology and athletic program management systems.
8. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable by UMHB auto insurance carrier.
9. Must agree to the University’s Employee Statement of Understanding.
