Overview

Located five miles from downtown Boston, Tufts University is a Division III member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the highly-competitive New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). Tufts student-athletes participate in 30 varsity sports, 32 club sports and a number of intramural sports. Tufts Athletics has won 17 NCAA team championships since 2010 and has finished in the top 10 of the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup every year for the past decade, including winning the Director's Cup in 2022 as the top Division III Athletic Department in the nation. Tufts Athletics oversees the University’s Physical Education Department and manages all athletics facilities. The Department of Athletics provides student-athletes with a dynamic, transformational experience on and off the field. What You'll Do

 

The Head Coach for Women’s Basketball is responsible for effectively operating all aspects of an NCAA Division III women’s basketball program. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting academically qualified and athletically talented high school athletes, leading and managing the student-athletes and assistant coach, organizing and running practices, creating and sustaining an environment that supports the Tufts mission, building a competitive schedule, operating the program within budgetary limits, managing administrative tasks effectively, and actively participating in alumni engagement and fundraising activities.
