POSITION: HEAD COACH, WOMEN'S BOWLING (CONTRACT POSITION) 10 months

LOCATION: ATHLETICS

JOB SUMMARY: New Jersey City University, a NCAA Division III member of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC), Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) & Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), is accepting applications for the position of Head Women's Bowling Coach. Reporting to the Director of Athletics and assigned sport administrator, the head coach is responsible for the leadership and supervision in all aspects of the program including, recruitment, retention, budget, academic support, practice preparation, game strategy, alumni development, fundraising and community service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for secondary responsibilities assigned by the Director of Athletics. Encouraging academic and athletic excellence and adherence to all rules and regulations set forth by New Jersey City University, the NCAA and the Conference is required; as well as a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of four years high-level coaching experience, giving preference to intercollegiate athletics experience in the given sport as a coach and/or student-athlete. Commitment to fostering and investing in the growth of the holistic experience of the NJCU student-athlete will be paramount in this role.
