Hastings College is seeking an energetic and passionate Head Dance & Cheer Coach to lead our Cheerleading and Dance programs. This full-time position plays a vital role in developing student-athletes through dynamic training, mentorship, and academic support, while also managing the operational aspects of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead recruitment and retention efforts for talented and academically qualified student-athletes.
• Design and implement training focused on choreography, conditioning, and skill development.
• Foster a team culture of positivity, competitiveness, and academic success.
• Manage program budgets, coordinate travel, and oversee equipment and operational needs.
• Support and mentor student-athletes both on and off the performance floor.
• Engage in fundraising, marketing, and community outreach in collaboration with the Athletic Department.
• Ensure compliance with NAIA, GPAC, and institutional standards.

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. 
• At least two years of experience, preferably at the collegiate level. High level of knowledge of the rules, techniques and skills of dance and cheer.
