Position Focus:
The head football athletic trainer will lead the day-to-day management of the athletic medicine operation as it pertains to football student-athletes. In this position, they will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals providing medical care to intercollegiate athletes and will lead the football athletic medicine team, including other athletic trainers and athletic training student interns. The head football athletic trainer will also design and implement treatment and care plans to rehabilitate student-athletes, including post-operative patients, to improve performance, and safely return them to full activity levels.
Essential Duties
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Allied Health Sciences required and two years of experience as an Athletic Trainer at the collegiate level or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of NCAA and Ivy League regulations.

Strong background in providing athletic training to varsity football athletes.

Dedicated, passionate and highly motivated. Ability to work evenings, weekends and occasionally travel.
