Head Men’s And Women’s Golf Coach

Position Purpose

The Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach position will work directly with the Hiram College Men’s and Women’s Golf program on all facets of the day-to-day operations of a collegiate men’s and women’s golf program in compliance with Hiram College, PAC, and NCAA policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct and be responsible for practice, competition planning and implementation
• Recruiting and retention of student-athletes to the men’s and women’s golf program
• Assist with the strength and conditioning program for men’s and women’s golf
• Responsible for the men’s and women’s golf team budget
• Responsible for all funding raising initiatives for the Hiram College men’s and women’s golf program
• Do athletic laundry in sport season
• Other duties as assigned, to possibly include, but not be limited to other sport event management during the off-season
• Work the Day with Hiram Golf Outing

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of women’s wrestling
• Ability to teach skills and strategy of women’s wrestling
• Working knowledge of strength and conditioning relative to women’s wrestling
• Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public.
• Microsoft Word
• Excel
• Experience with Front Rush
• Proficient with all forms of social media

Experience

• Previous collegiate men’s and women’s golf coaching experience
• Experience recruiting college athletes

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
