Job description: Serves in a dual role as Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at Oxford College of Emory University and as an Instructor on record for credit-bearing courses. As head coach, coordinates and conducts all aspects of the golf program, including (but not limited to) practices, games, recruiting, fundraising, discipline, and monitoring of academic progress of student athletes. Responsible for classroom instruction by serving as an academic instructor, teaching two physical education classes per semester, or up to three, based on the Center for Healthful Living (CHL) departmental needs. Complies with all policies and regulations governing the National Junior College Athletic Association, Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association, Oxford College of Emory University, and the CHL. Opportunity to organize and direct successful youth camps and clinic, contacting local organizations for summer camps. Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree preferred and three (3) year of coaching experience. Golf coaching experience, preferably at the college level. An Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior teaching experience, preferably at the college level.
