SUMMARY:

The Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach is responsible for coaching the men’s and women’s golf teams. This position is part-time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all coaching duties in the role as head coach to include on-course instruction, match management, recruiting, conditioning, academic monitoring, assistant coach supervision and sport camp development.
  • Be knowledgeable and supportive of compliance with policies and regulations of the University, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Middle Atlantic Conference, and other athletics related organizations to which the University belongs. Know and implement relevant NCAA and Middle Atlantic Conference policies/regulations.
  • Be knowledgeable about the annual NCAA Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA).
  • Represent the Athletic Department and Marywood University in an appropriate and professional manner at all times.
  • Assists in the preparation and monitoring of department budgets.
  • Supervises and manages assistant coaches.
