Position Summary Information

| Responsibilities |
The Head Men’s Golf coach will be responsible for the direction and oversight of the DSU golf program and all coaching functions related to the sport. These functions include, but are not limited to: oversee day-to-day operations of the golf program; coach golf team, including practice and game day preparations; organization of team travel; recruit quality student athletes; maintain and be accountable for the golf budget; hire and supervise graduate assistants for golf; market DSU sponsored golf tournaments and serve as tournament director; guide students to success on the course and in the classroom; establish a strong working relationship with the University and surrounding community; follow all NCAA, GSC and University rules and regulations. Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Must have effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills and foster positive student-athlete, campus, community, alumni, and athletic department relations. | | Qualifications |
