Duties (Examples listed below are not an all-inclusive list):
This position involves frequent verbal, written, and email correspondence with students, parents, faculty and
staff. The successful candidate will:
Develop and implement a successful recruiting/retention plan
Plan and supervise practices 6am-8am Monday/Wednesday and games on weekends
Coordinate team travel
Manage the program operating budget
Adhere to and ensure compliance with departmental/College/ACHA/NCAA rules and regulations
Academic monitoring of student-athletes
Conducting team and individual video sessions
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum level 1 USA Hockey Coaching Certification
Must be able to perform duties within the normal bounds of an office environment as well as stand
for long periods of time and work in a variety of weather conditions. Must also be able to
demonstrate techniques to student athletes

Desired Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently, has excellent
organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Junior, Collegiate or Professional playing and/or
coaching experience.
