The Waldorf University Athletics Department in Forest City, IA, is seeking passionate and qualified candidates for Head Men's Soccer Coach. Waldorf is a member of NAIA and the GPAC Conference. The Head Coach is responsible for all phases of the men's soccer program in a manner compatible with Athletics Department and Waldorf University philosophies.
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the mission of Waldorf University and be committed to the development of the student-athlete physically, mentally, spiritually and morally. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability and desire to recruit students, especially from Iowa and surrounding states, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to represent themselves and their program in professional and positive manner.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible and primarily 10-month (August through May annually) position with limited time commitments during June and July to complete any ongoing recruitment activities, attendance or representation at orientation day and Athletic department fundraising event(s), as well as monitoring responding to email or messages as needed. Ideal candidates will have collegiate coaching experience at the NAIA level, proven ability to recruit quality student athletes, and a commitment to the development of individuals and the team.
