Apply NowThe head volleyball coach is responsible for the direction and organization of the Rockford University volleyball program. The coach is responsible for the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student athletes, supervision of coaching staff, practice planning, player skill/leadership development, fiscal responsibility and alumni cultivation. The coach is expected to demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and conduct becoming of the coaching profession. The coach is expected to annually review any rule changes relative to the sport and to always adhere to all rules, regulations and policies of NCAA Division III and the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. 3-5 years college coaching experience preferred. Ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong interest and experience in an intercollegiate athletics setting as well as familiarity with the Division III rules and regulations. This individual must be a self-starter and possess a proven ability to achieve goals in addition to having strong organizational and interpersonal skills, recruitment experience, and the ability to multitask and problem solve. Must possess valid driver’s license, personal automobile insurance and meet insurability requirements per the University’s insurance policy.
Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
