institution located in Norton, Massachusetts, is looking for a motivated, energetic, passionate and caring individual to serve as the inaugural Head Coach of Men’s Volleyball. This individual will recruit, build and lead our newly created intercollegiate Men’s Volleyball program. Once the program is created, the Head Coach prepares the team for a full intercollegiate varsity season, including in-season and non-traditional practices, scouting of opponents and match preparation.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
Build a new men’s volleyball program.
Organize and conduct team practices to prepare the team for competition. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally for any regular or post-season events.
Develop and execute a recruiting plan for prospective student-athletes
Serve in an administrative capacity as needed, including but not limited to, game management and/or a secondary duty.
Oversee the student-athlete’s academic progress and be available for consultation and support for overall student-athlete well-being.
Create and implement a plan of engagement and communication with alumni, families, friends and fundraising initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2-4 years of collegiate coaching experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work evenings and weekends throughout the year to accomplish the tasks necessary for success in this field.
Commitment to working and teaching within an environment that embraces the development of students around their education, cultural diversity, mental health awareness, and healthy masculinity.
Master’s degree, collegiate volleyball experience, and 3-5 years of head coaching experience preferred.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience.
