JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Head Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country Coach will be responsible for planning and directing the recruitment, conditioning, training, and performance of student-athletes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for fiscal management of the Cross-Country program to accomplish the objectives of this sport within the guidelines of the Greensboro College Athletic Department, the USA South Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.
This position will be part-time for the 2023-2024 academic year and will focus primarily on recruiting student-athletes for the fall of 2024. However, in lieu of no coaching responsibilities, the Cross-Country Coach will also assist Sports Information, primarily in game day support. An increased or expanded role at the College is possible if the enrollment goals of cross country are achieved.
