Nebraska Athletics is seeking a Head Coach for our Women’s Rifle program. The coach is responsible for the overall accountability and responsibility for the organization, management, and coaching of the Division I Intercollegiate Women’s Rifle team at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The successful candidate will establish strategies and goals for Nebraska Athletics Women’s Rifle on a short and long-term basis. They will have a proven commitment to student-athlete academic achievement and total person development. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate all support services essential to student-athlete experience and development.
Maintain records in the area of recruiting, scheduling, inventories and finances.
Recruit capable student-athletes on national and international level.
Evaluate prospective student-athletes and their abilities.
Create daily practice plans and lead team and individual practices.
Responsible for scheduling.
Coordinate travel to and from competitions.
Create and adhere to the approved annual budget.
Public relations and promotion of the program.
Supervise Assistant Women’s Rifle Coach.
Perform administrative duties as necessary.
Conduct program within
NCAA
, Conference, and University rules and regulations.
Attend monthly Compliance meetings.

Bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrated ability to coach techniques and strategies of the sport to Division I caliber student-athletes.
Knowledgeable about and able to ensure compliance with
NCAA
rules and regulations.
