SUMMARY
The Head Coach for the Men’s/Women’s Soccer program provides leadership, vision, and direction for all aspects of
the intercollegiate soccer program. Responsibilities include recruiting qualified student-athletes, coaching, program
administration, and promoting academic success while maintaining compliance with institutional, conference, and
NAIA rules.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
Previous collegiate or competitive coaching experience (typically 3–5 years).
Demonstrated recruiting experience.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head Coach for Soccer is responsible for managing an intercollegiate Soccer program to include:
• Recruiting qualified student-athletes, budgeting, scheduling, coaching, travel, giving appropriate directions to student
athletes, assisting relates to academics, while adhering to all National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, Athletic
Department, and College rules and regulations
• Provides academic advising for student-athletes and overseas academic eligibility of athletes.
• Monitors student-athletes' academic progress and communicates with academic departments concerning student
athletes' progress toward degrees.
• Monitors compliance with NAIA rules and procedures.
• Promote soccer through community events and public relations activities
• Other duties as assigned

Rust College is a historically black college located in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Rust is a private, coeducational, four-
year, residential, comprehensive Liberal Arts institution, affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Founded in 1866,
