Head Softball Coach
The Head Softball Coach serves as the primary leader and steward of the University of Mary's NCAA Division II Softball program. This position provides strategic leadership, personnel supervision, scholarship management, competitive oversight, fundraising direction, and mission integration for the softball program.
The Head Coach is fully responsible for competitive success, culture formation, compliance oversight, and alignment with the University's Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission and the University’s ‘Greatness Through Virtue’ (GTV) whole-person development model.
Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.

Oversees Scholar-Athlete Leadership & Whole Person Development
Ensuring equitable experience across both programs
Strategic marketing collaboration
Social media direction (in coordination with athletics communications)
Camp development
Faculty and campus integration
Game-day tradition and development
Community presence and engagement
Budget management
Scholarship allocation and strategy
Roster size targets
Scheduling
Staff supervision and evaluation
Faculty coordination
Contribution to departmental strategic plan
Interdepartmental collaboration
Meeting or exceeding annual Armada goals
Maintaining a strong Armada Cabinet
Participation in flagship fundraising events
Development of sport-specific fundraising initiatives
Engagement with alumni and donors
