Position Description
Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, USC Aiken AthleticsThe University of South Carolina Aiken, an NCAA Division II Institution and member of the Peach Belt Conference, is seeking a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for a 10-sport department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the strength and conditioning program, including the oversight, implementation, and development of performance programming for student-athletes in accordance with USC Aiken, Peach Belt Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. This is a 12-month full-time position. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s Degree plus two years of experience in assigned work areas; Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association; Traveling; Much work is done at night, on weekends and holidays; Being outside in the weather. Master’s degree and/or two years of strength and conditioning experience at intercollegiate level preferred.Application deadline: February 11, 2024. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
