The Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator  is responsible for the development, implementation, and supervision of comprehensive strength, conditioning, and wellness programs designed to enhance the physical performance, health, and safety of student-athletes and/or university participants. This position promotes injury prevention, athletic performance, fitness education, and overall wellness while supporting the University’s mission of academic and athletic excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement strength and conditioning programs tailored to specific sports and participant needs. 
  • Conduct fitness assessments and monitor participant progress and performance outcomes. 
  • Develop programs focused on strength, endurance, flexibility, mobility, and injury prevention. 
  • Promote overall health and wellness through education, fitness instruction, and healthy lifestyle initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with athletic trainers and medical staff regarding injury prevention and rehabilitation protocols. 
  • Educate participants on nutrition, recovery, and safe training practices. 
  • Supervise strength and conditioning sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety procedures.
