Apply NowThe Head Track and Cross-Country Coach is responsible for supervising, planning and coordinating practices and competition for the team. The head coach is responsible for maintaining current student athletes and recruiting future student athletes to the program.
The University reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND TASKS:
Academics
· Ensure that student athletes maintain academic standards.
· Monitor Study- hall attendance and work with academic success team.
Practice/Competition
· Design competitive and safe practices
· Schedule opportunities for athletes to compete
· Oversee and instruct athletes during practice/competition
Recruiting
· Promote the track and cross country teams through Sports information and social media
· Recruit talented and committed student athletes.
· Maintain roster of current student athletes
Departmental Duties
· Perform departmental duties as assigned
Budget
· Manage and maintain finances within the parameters of the budget.

EDUCATION/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION
WORKING CONDITIONS
Weekends, early mornings, post- game hours.
