General Description / Primary Purpose:

The Head Volleyball Coach, under the direction of the Athletic Director, plays an integral role in the design, development, implementation and interpretation of departmental processes and/or programs. The Head Volleyball Coach's primary responsibility is the coaching and instruction of the sport of Indoor Volleyball. Approximately 60% of the Coach's responsibility is dedicated to the instruction of Volleyball through on-court training and classroom training through the use of video and other teaching techniques. Approximately 40% of the Coach's responsibility is recruiting and other administrative duties.

Job Function:

  • The Head Volleyball Coach is responsible for directing the activities related to the Indoor Volleyball program, to include coaching, planning, organizing, recruiting, and adherence to budgets and rules as defined by UNF, ASUN Conference, and the NCAA.
