JOB SUMMARY: The Head Women’s Basketball Coach at the North Dakota State College of Science plays an important role in recruiting student-athletes, scheduling non-conference games, conducting pre-season workouts, and preparing for practices. Additional duties may be assigned by the Athletic Director. These additional duties may include but are not limited to game management, event management for external events at the Blikre Activities Center, athletic marketing, and fundraising for the NDSCS Catbackers/Letterwinners Club, Scholarship raffle, banner and scoreboard advertising, NDSCS Alumni Weekend, and more.

SALARY: Starting at $50,000 - $60,000 commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements

• Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Experience coaching at the high school level, or higher
• A commitment to upholding and building the Wildcat culture in athletics
• A commitment to building strong teams, both internally and externally
• Strong ability to recruit, both local and regional athletes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership skills
• Proficient working knowledge of computer software programs and other relevant technology
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• Collegiate coaching experience
• Collegiate recruiting experience
• Knowledge and understanding of NJCAA rules and regulations
• Fundraising experience
• Marketing experience
