Job Title: Head Women’s Bowling Coach

Job Summary: The Athletic Department at Bethune Cookman University invites applications for the full-time position of Head Women’s Bowling Coach. This is a full-time 12-month staff position with responsibilities including but not limited to: coaching, recruiting, management of staff and student-athletes, budgeting and planning. The position also involves promotions, development of a summer camp program, effective practice and game condition teaching, monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes in conjunction with departmental, university, SWAC and NCAA rules, and mentoring. The coach will also serve as an ambassador for Bethune-Cookman University.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree is required for each full-time coach; a master's degree is preferred, plus three years of bowling coaching experience, however the university will take into consideration previous professional playing experience and other high level coaching experience in lieu of an advanced degree if the employee is committed under university guidelines to continually work towards the awarding of the degree while being employed.
Employee must possess and/or be able to maintain a valid Florida driver's license; annually maintain certification of NCAA recruiting and rules implementation and pass routine and random drug screening as mandated by the department of athletics.
