This position will assist the Director of Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Track and Field with all phases of the NCAA Division I programs to help develop our student-athletes to reach their full potential.
Examples of what you'll do
The ideal candidates will have expertise and success with cross country and distance events. This position requires an excellent work ethic along with exceptional motivational, teaching/coaching and communication skills. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. Requires the ability to travel extensively including overnight stays for recruiting and competitions and some international travel.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience coaching or competing in cross country and/or track distance events at a highly competitive level (post high school).
Preferred Qualifications
Established history of coaching NCAA Division I or professional cross country and distance track athletes to successful performance outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to recruit and coach highly skilled student–athletes and have strong recruiting connections.
