3. Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule practices, competitions, and travel arrangements for the golf team.
4. Competition: Prepare student-athletes for competitive play and coach them during matches and tournaments.
5. Administration: Manage budgetary allocations for the golf program, handle administrative tasks, and maintain accurate records.
6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with NCAA regulations and university policies.
7. Public Relations: Serve as a representative of the university's golf program, fostering positive relationships with alumni, donors, and the community.
8. Student-Athlete Development: Support the academic and personal development of student-athletes, promoting their success on and off the golf course. Required Knowledge. Skills, and Abilities:
   The individual in this job must possess these skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation using some other combination of skills and abilities:
9. Golf Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience in golf, including coaching techniques and strategies.
10. Recruitment Skills: Ability to identify and recruit talented student-athletes to the university's golf program.
11. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with student-athletes, colleagues, and stakeholders.
12. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and motivate student-athletes.
13. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks.
14. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, staff, alumni, donors, and the community.
15. Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of NCAA regulations and university policies related to athletics.

Qualification Standards

1. Education: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree required; previous coaching experience preferred.
