Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach (9 month appointment):
The position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach will hold a 100% appointment in the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (
UWL
) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (“the Department”) and will report directly to UWL’s Director of Athletics. The coach will manage the daily operations of a Division
III
intercollegiate women’s lacrosse program competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (“WIAC”), with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the supervision of the assistant coaching staff and the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, and administering of the women’s lacrosse program (“UWL Women’s Lacrosse”) to meet University and Department objectives. • Bachelor’s degree.
• Substantial head lacrosse coaching experience at the high school level, club level or above OR substantial assistant lacrosse coaching at the intercollegiate or professional levels.
• The ability to have and maintain a valid driver’s license meeting the criteria for driving a vehicle on University/State business is required.
• Master’s or other post-graduate degree.
• Three years of relevant coaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience in college recruiting.
• Understanding of and commitment to the

• Evening and weekends hours are required.

The Division includes a number of departments: Campus Child Center, Counseling and Testing, Student Health Center, Intercollegiate Athletics, Recreational Sports, Residence Life, Student Life, University Centers, and the Vice Chancellor & Dean of Students office.
