ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Direct all aspects of the intercollegiate women’s soccer program, including, but not limited to, recruitment and supervision of assistant coaches, practice and contest organization, team travel, budget management, recruitment, scheduling, promotion of the program, and team fundraising.
Meet annual goals for student athlete recruitment and retention.
Effectively promote an inclusive, safe and welcoming environment for all student athletes and set expectations for diversity and inclusion in all team activities.
Conduct the women’s soccer program in accordance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations.
Adhere to all college policies including, but not limited to, specific duties as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) and Responsible Employee.
Teach a 1-credit physical education course in the fall semester and two 1-credit courses in the spring semester and/or manage additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Collaborate on the development and delivery of a comprehensive student-athlete wellness program
Co-advise student-athlete mentors
Game management (winter & spring)
Facility manager for Ira R. Herr Stadium
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Attend athletic department staff meetings
Conduct all responsibilities in a safe manner according to regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree is required. Plus three to five years of coaching experience, preferably on the college level; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
This position requires a valid driver’s license for business travel purposes (individual must have a US driver’s license for at least three years and be qualified to transport students in college-owned and/or leased vehicles). CPR certification also is required.
