Position Overview

The Head Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for all facets of conducting a successful women’s volleyball program at the

NCAA

Division 1 level. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics with regular interaction with the Director of

NCAA

Compliance and the Director of Business.

Duties may include:

On the floor coaching during practice and competition

Recruiting of top-quality student-athletes

Fundraising

Promotional and public relations activities

Speaking engagements and media interviews

Administration and coaching of summer camps

Compliance with all

NCAA

, conference and university rules and regulations demonstrating professional integrity

Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

| Required Experience |
- Intercollegiate volleyball coaching experience

| | Required Education |
- Bachelor’s Degree

- Must be able to travel

| | Additional Preferred |
- Master’s degree - Successful Intercollegiate volleyball coaching experience - Competitive experience as intercollegiate volleyball player - Successful head or assistant coaching experience with NCAA Division I - Ability to recruit top-quality student-athletes at the NCAA Division I level - Familiarity with Northwest recruiting areas - Demonstrated administrative, public relations, and organizational skills - Ability to establish good rapport and working relationships with student-athletes, administration, coaching staffs, university personnel, and the general public - Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to comply with NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations - Coaching and administrative experience with summer camps, if desired
