The Athletics Department at Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Head Women’s Volleyball Coach. This person is responsible for the development, coaching, organization and management of the Women’s Volleyball program. In addition, this position is responsible for the recruitment of prospective student-athletes and retention of current team members.

Essential Functions

Responsible for the safety and well-being of team members and supervision of assistant coaches and student-managers with whom they work.
Responsible for teaching and developing athletic skills of team members.
Responsible for close collaboration with the Director of Athletics regarding scheduling of contests, practices, team travel and team management.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with:
NCAA Division III,
Responsible for participating in team fundraising projects and other programs sponsored by the Athletic Department.
Responsible for maintaining all sports equipment assigned to the Head Coach, Assistant Coach or student-athletes
Believes in the mission of the University.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and previous, successful coaching and recruiting experience at the collegiate level required. Frequent travel is also required (including nights and weekends).
