Position Summary Information
| Position Purpose |
The position is responsible for recruitment of qualified wresting student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, retention, possess the ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA rules, MAC, and Bloomsburg policies and regulations, scheduling, CPR certification, practice and game planning, training, fundraising, community engagement, camps and clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
The candidate should possess the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to work with all aspects of a successful NCAA Division I wrestling program.

| Description of Duties |
Bloomsburg Athletics is seeking a Head Wrestling Coach who possesses the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to coordinate, oversee, and organize all aspects of the program.
Full-time, 12-month position which requires the organization and supervision of all aspects of an academically strong and athletically competitive wrestling program, including: recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA Division I rules, Mid-American Conference (MAC), and Bloomsburg policies and regulations, scheduling, practice and match planning, fitness, camps and clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. Position will monitor operating budgets in cooperation with the Director of Athletics. Administers NCAA Division I scholarship budget and monitors this with the Compliance Coordinator. Is responsible for fundraising efforts and Alumni and Community engagement activities that benefit the Wrestling program, the Department of Athletics, and Bloomsburg.

| Background Clearances |
Offers of employment are conditional, pending successful completion of the background clearances mandated by Act 153 of 2014 and Board of Governors Policy 2014-01-A: Protection of Minors. In order to qualify for a provisional appointment, the Applicant Acknowledgement Consent Form, Provisional Hire Form, Pennsylvania State Police and Justifacts portion of the clearance process must be successfully completed prior to your start date. The remaining PA Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Clearance must be successfully completed and returned as soon as possible within the first 90 days of employment.
