Under the direction of the Field Operations Manager, the Assistant Field Operations Manager is responsible for providing routine maintenance of internal and external facilities, as well as equipment, with an emphasis on assisting with the management, care, maintenance, and preparation of the Crawford Athletic Fields, Anteater Stadium, and Vista Field. Job responsibilities include; management of student staff; venue preparation for intercollegiate and external activities, with particular attention to the NFL visiting teams; facility management and maintenance responsibilities for athletic venues, as assigned; game management responsibilities for hosted intercollegiate and external competitions, as assigned.

Your Role on the Team

  • Superior public relations skills, including Outstanding interpersonal skills to Establish and maintain effective working Relationships and correspondence with Students, Staff, faculty, visiting coaches, and Big West and NCAA officials. Required
  • Working knowledge of program activity and best practices. Required
  • Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties. Required
  • Problem-solving skills; multi-task, work with frequent interruptions, and effective listener. Required
