ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:
Bachelor’s degree and two years’ full-time related experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Instruct student athletes in the rules, fundamentals, individual player development, sportsmanship, and leadership of their respective sports. In addition to those teaching duties, they are also responsible for determining the fundamental philosophy, skills, strategies, and techniques for each team.
• Oversee and/or provide instruction for the teaching of current fundamentals, techniques, and strategies relative to one or more sport(s)
• Lead regular practice sessions and contests in a safe physical environment; provide appropriate emergency care
• Perform all duties in compliance with the rules and regulations of the NCAA/NJCAA, the College, the relevant conference, and the University
• Recruit eligible student-athletes, supervise study activities, and monitor academic progress
• May manage various budgets and oversee one or more athletic facilities
• Serve as positive and professional role model and mentor to the student community, treating all persons with dignity and respect; prevent harassment and discrimination by coaching staff and athletes and report all breaches of ethical behavior
• May conduct and participate in fundraising activities and community service events
• May supervise athletics and support staff
• May be required to transport team(s) to off-site practice sessions and/or events
• Extensive travel some overnights and weekends
• Performs related duties as assigned

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
