POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a candidate to fill a time limited internship assisting the Compliance department in the monitoring of: the recruitment process and records for all sports programs, extra benefits for all student-athletes, playing and practice season for select sports, and NCAA rules compliance for student-athletes and coaches. This position is instrumental in collecting and monitoring the Gator support club annual information and also handles complimentary admission documentation for prospective student-athletes, the families, and high school coaches. This position also assists with data collection and verification for required annual NCAA reports such as GSR and APR.

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a candidate to fill a time limited internship assisting the Compliance department in the monitoring of: the recruitment process and records for all sports programs, extra benefits for all student-athletes, playing and practice season for select sports, and NCAA rules compliance for student-athletes and coaches. This is a time-limited position with an option for a second year if essential criteria is met.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Strong composition proficiency and strict attention to detail

Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds

Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a sports related field

Additional on the job training will be provided to candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Please note this is a non-coaching position.
