Main UNCW Campus
The Athletic Operations Assistant is technical in its responsibilities for the facilities and landscape maintenance as well as equipment for the Athletics Department.
Responsibilities Include:
Provides equipment inventory to coaches and staff
Receives and issues equipment as well as maintains and cleans equipment
Keeps up with laundry for the department
Ensures all outdoor playing and practice environments are safe and clean
Game management duties for
UNCW
baseball and softball that may include, but not limited to, field lining, field maintenance, field repair, irrigation management and waste management
Other duties as assigned
Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred education, professional skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree
One year of experience in the athletics fields, equipment and/or facilities
1.0 (40 hours per week)
12 Months
Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work weekends particularly in the spring athletic season
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility to work nights particularly in the spring athletic season
