Summary

The Kesler Student Activity Center (KSAC) Front Desk/Well Student Worker is the first point of contact for KSAC operations. This position involves providing information and service to all community members or other patrons, rounds of the building, laundry services for TU Athletic teams, weight room upkeep.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the KSAC
  • Inform KSAC Director of any Accidents/Injuries, equipment repair, maintenance requests, or behavioral incident through filling out the respective forms.
  • Be responsible for KSAC/Well front desk operations: Community memberships, cleaning of fitness centers, rounds of buildings, etc.
  • Be responsible laundry services for TU athletic teams
• Take part in all departmental staff meetings and training sessions.
• Required to get CPR certified prior to the upcoming school year.
• Make recommendations to the KSAC Director concerning equipment purchases and changes in policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for all shift changes and report any missed shifts and explanation to the KSAC Director or student manager.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the KSAC Director or Student Supervisor.

Typical Qualifications

• Be able to critically think and question things.
• Prior CPR certification.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of all KSAC policies and procedures.
• Good organizational skills and record keeping.
• Good technology skills, including use of email programs, and group messaging (e.g. GroupMe).
• Cheerful presence and people skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Be able to lift 20 pounds potentially upwards to 40 pounds.
