Job Description:

Mount St. Mary’s University is currently accepting applicants for the position of Live Productions Assistant. This is a part-time, 10-month position. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with the Coordinator of Live Productions to produce home athletic events on ESPN+ and Mount All-Access (Sidearm).
• When there are multiple home games, serving as the producer.  This also includes making sure cameras are set up, broadcast is set up, testing the connections, etc.
• Learning all aspects of home game productions, including graphics, replay, audio and producing.
• Teach practicum students and interns how to work each station of the broadcast (cameras, Xpression, etc...).
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

The appointed individual will:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree
• Be willing to work late hours/nights/weekends to cover athletic games
• Must have familiarity working with cameras
• Familiarity working with Xpression Graphics, Replay, and Audio
• Knowledge working with Adobe Premiere for YouTube Highlights

Salary/Hours/Benefits

• $7,000 Salary, ( Part-Time) 10-month contract
